Prime
Every now and then I like to watch a feel-good movie, in order to.. well.. feel good about myself and my life.In line with that, Lizzie and I caught Prime yesterday.
Uma Thurman was hot, Bryan Greenberg's typically cute but not dishy, and Meryl Streep could have done with a better movie, especially since the last one I caught her in was The Hours. Yes of course that was eons ago, but whatever.
All I have to say about the movie is that the plot is as thick as its synopsis, and I felt cheated, because when I go in to see a feel-good movie, I wanna feel like my hearstrings have been tugged at least at some point. Prime only managed to pull an "Awww" out of me.
I know Lizzie liked it cos it was realistic. Granted, but I still didn't feel very good, and so I didn't get my money's worth.
I would recommend it as a weekday get-out-of-the-afternoon-sun movie, nothing more.
