Last week was a failed attempt at suntanning, primarily because there was no sun, and we went to a pool which was blocked by apartment buildings. I have nothing to say. Of course, some might say that it's just the location (Toa Payoh). I shall not speculate on that.
Today was a much better experience, and it was all done in the comfort of Stratton Pub. Of course, it looks rather retarded, especially in Singapore, to be tanning on the lawn. However, it is still better than tanning on the roof, and much much better than our previous potential exploits of tanning on the MRT.
An interesting observation was made today as well. As I flipped myself over to roast my arse, I noticed that 2 specific points on my towel were getting moist.
Tanning enthusiasts (I'm not one of them) will know that whe tanning oil is applied, somehow the body gets extremely wet, dripping with oil, sweat and all those other secretions.
However I shall cease to digress, for the topic of the compositions of tanning oil by-products can be studied by others with more time on their hands, like Butcher.
As I looked down at the moist spots, I noticed that they actually originated from my nips! Sweat and oil and grime and what not were dripping, slowly drop by drop, from my nips! I was lactating!! This is an extraordinary experience really. Now I know what it feels like to be a mother.
I pondered upon my new-found liberation from the male species, and a thought stuck me. If I were to squeeze into the freezer this very instant, stalactites would be formed!
What an extraordinary experience...
